WILLIAM, MY DAD
My Dad William (Bill)60 yrs old was DX March 2009 with stage IV Pancreatic
cancer. He received a biopsy in June 2009 as they had some indication his
tumor may be operable. This turned out to be false hope. The Biopsy indicated
the tumor was where they could not operate and uncovered several oter smaller
tumors in the stomach lining. He began Genzar shortly after. He remained
working as an OTR truck driver. The Genzar he received 7 treatments and then
began filling with fluids in his abdomen around the very end of september
2009 they indicated his cancer count had tripled and this was not working. He
was drained and was full again 4 days later. This is a continued problem to
today. My mother is caring for 3 young children(my dads sisters children who
they are guardians of ages 10, 12 and 13) and dealing with this as well and
it is tough on her.
