Hello,My father completed adjuant chemo( Gemcitabine) in Aug'09 after a wheeple in Jan'09.He completed weekly chemo( 1,7,15) of 18 cycle.However after one one month CA19.9 elvated from 45 to 87 but scan is normal.Now he is suffering Back pain.Initially there was cough also.But now no cough after one week antibiotics treatment.Dr.advice to do PET SCAN after 30 days i.e. 60days after last chemo cycle.Can any one focuss why CA19.9 rising & reason behind backpain ???Is this recurrance simptoms???
