Tina, thank you VERY much for that complete response. Sorry I returned to the WestCoast for a few days so am just getting back on line. My sister is scheduled to start the CT in a little over a week, has to get her pain in check first and have more tests. She has had dry mouth for some time so at least in her case it's not related to the chemo. I pray she doesn't get the placebo, but of course it out of our control. I still trying to find out what happens after a phase 3 is completed and the drug shows promise. I'm obviously hoping she could get that drug whatever it is with gemzar. It's her choice, however, and she very much likes the doctor who is supposedly in charge of the CT for R115777 globally. Please continue to let me know how you mom is doing and I'll do the same. I sincerely hope she's getting the drug (which I've done some reseach on). Thanks again and please keep in touch,James F
