For many years before diagnosed Charlie took a whole regimen of vitamins...he always had it in his mind these vitamins would protect him from illnesses (sure...). After surgery, the surgeon had him take a prescription multi-vitamin, which is the only supplement he takes now. Thanks for the tip regarding Calcium. Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, and I doubt it would do him any harm. I'll mention this to him.
