Point of reference:
I got a preliminary diagnosis before leaving the hospital following my biopsy, and a confirmation per pathology on the 5th day which included a 3-day Christmas holiday weekend. My doctor examined the tissue under the microscope himself and called me ASAP on my cell phone with the official Pathology Report results and to advise me on my next steps.
I'd press the issue a little harder. 'Squeaky wheel gets the grease' is what
my mother always said.
