Pat, very loose stool is a sign of malabsorption.It was 2 years ago that Les began to lose weight and have very loose bowel movements with a high fat content,eventually his bowel movements have become all water. He was diagnosed with fat malabsorption.You are correct to increase his enzymes. Les now takes 5 to 7 Creon 20 with each meal and 3 to 4 Creon 10 with snacks. The increase in enzymes has decreased his bowel movements from as many as 8 per day to 3 or 4 and has slowed his weight loss. He now has acites,that I think is related to the malabsorption. Hope the increase in enzymes is all that Charlie needs. Love to you both Eileen
