Is it considered lymphedema if the swelling is a result of the swollen lymph gland pinching something off? That's what the the dr said. Doug's cancer had gone only to the lymph glands. We always know when his cancer is active because of the main affected gland pushing on the sciatic nerve.Which has been going on for a while. Since he has been without treatment since May 27(has to be off 28 days to start the clinical trials) it is obvious the glands are getting more and more swollen.Besides the last 2 types of chemo did not work. We are so ready to get started in Dallas. Jan
