Were not very forthcoming with solid information either. I kept telling his brothers and sisters that it was not my place to tell him and I thought it was the MD's place. BUT, Frank kept asking ME. Just as your friend might ask sibblings or you. What would you say? Many tims I was quick enough to come up with some sort of comforting answer (I hope) but then that also prevented Frank from really, REALLY getting prepared for what he really needed to be dealing with.. There were many times when Frank was even asking for truth or information and things were softened a bit. Real truth is precious. There are ways of saying things that are not kurt or rude, however when we were going through this, I wanted information and truth. I never asked for anyone to give me hope, Frank had enough of that to go around. Good luck to you.
