My husband fell into a profound depression shortly after his Whipple 5 years ago. He would have never admitted it, nor would he have ever considered talking to a therapist....but it was debilitating, trust me.

It's a very long story, but he was eventually prescribed Zoloft, and he would have been the last person to even consider an anti-depressant. I cannot begin to tell you what a miracle drug the Zoloft has been for him. He continues to take it every day. He may forget his enzymes.....but never the Zoloft. Please consider one of these meds.

Congrats on your 18 months! I wish you many more good years.
