take these messages in the right spirit. Sometimes someone outside of the family can be the strongest force. When you speak with your friend, you may want to be vague about timelines but 'forceful' about things that are about her care. Such as her child, her will, a DNR, her wishes about hospice, etc. I would not do it all at once of course but it all has to be done nonetheless. Best wishes and make sure to come back here to ask more questions if you need to, there is so much info to be had here.
