Debbie, For us, the oncologist made the initial appointment with Mary Crowley in dallas. We went for an evaluation, Since they didn't think doug could wait 3-4 months on a waiting list as he would have on the existing ones, they opted to get him in a new one that was just oked and started the first of June. He had to be off all treatmetn for 28 days so he couldn't be one of the first, but he is scheduled to start June 14 in the second bunch. I have heard of ones who made the contact themselves, but since Texas Oncology is connected to MC it was natural for him to go there. Good luck with where ever you go. Jan
