All of the things you mention in your post are unlikely.

Unlikely that: she will lose her hair unlikely the tumor will shrink and get a liver transplant

Likely: She will try several chemo combos Some will make her feel sicker than others She will be depressed about her situation She will become too sick to care for her child She will not live as long as you think she might

Sorry to be harsh and hoping the best for your friend. But, you and she should be realistic yes fight, yes try but especially with a young child you have to use this time to prepare.
