There was a blog in the NYT today about this very issue. It might be comforting to you to read it and the comments to know that you are not alone:

The aftermath of treatment can be a very strange place emotionally. I didn't think I was carrying that much emotional baggage until I found myself waiting for a long time in a closed exam room for an entirely different and trivial medical matter and panicked so badly I almost had to get up and leave!

Please seek help. Your emotional needs deserve as much attention as your physical ones got.
