Forgive me if these are silly questions, but my reading about the different types of neuroendocrine tumors sends my mind spinning. Are all neuroendocrine tumors malignant?

I've also read that despite having the darn things resected, they keep coming back, that by the time they are detected there is a good likelihood that they have mestaticized somewhere else. I'm generalizing and hope too darkly, that someone can pop in with a ray of hope.
