My mother-in-law was dignosed yesterday with stage IV pc. Its also in her liver and stomach. Dr. said inoperable, could only do chemo/radiation. She's 84 and refusing to do any kind of treatment. Can't blame her-my dad died of lung cancer 20 years ago after agressive chemo and radiation but my daughter is 5 years cancer free after her treatments for Hodgkins. What boggles our minds is that she has no pain or other symptoms. We will be seeing the oncologist for pain management and any other options. Any input on this will be helpful. Thank you.
