Good morning,

Today is my husband, Ricky Sandoval's 49th birthday. It's been exactly 3 years and one month since his diagnosis of Stage IV inoperable pc and he is now just days from the end of his fight.

He's been hospitalized since Saturday and is reasonably comfortable. Even at this point he still has a fighting attitude and is running the show.

I will be forever grateful that for the majority of the three years he had good quality of life.. great in fact. And I will forever feel cheated that he had to die of a disease who's research has been so severely underfunded.

This community has been a wonderful source of information, support and friendship. Thank you for being here for us throughout this journey.

Gael Sandoval
