I dont know if I can help but just tell you my story..I had the whipple in 02 had lymph node involvement and was put on 5fu via fanny pack and rad. for the next 6wks. Next scan showed the ca met to my liver..I was then started on gemzar and taxotere for the next 2 yrs. All scans and blood work have been good...No signs of active disease As you see I have been off all treatment for almost 5yrs.. Last tests were recently done. Good luck in your descision
