Hello to all, quick update..my uncle, diagnosed May'99 mets to lungs, gemcitabine is having vertigo feelings (had a brain scan-no mets) and edema. His kidney function test has the oncologist concerned, and she stopped chemo temporarily 4 weeks ago. He was taking water pills, but it was affecting the kidneys, he is on high blood pressure medication and has had a double heart by-pass operation over 20years ago. They are now recommending that my uncle gets an echocardiogram and see a heart speacialist. what does this all mean???? I am so scared and frustrated at the lack of communication between doctors, etc. Please help!!any feedback is welcome Wishing everyone out there much strength! Cheryl
