I followed up my whipple with 5 weeks of radiation with chemo. According to the surgeon and oncologist (both the regular guy and the radiation oncologist) - the radiation and chemo were done together to get the max effect.

Later on in talking with radiation oncologist, I thought that I would never be able to have more radiation if it became necessary but he told me that it really depends. So, the bottom line was maybe if we need to. Fortunately, it has not been necessary.
