Kerri, My sister was diagnosed in feb 0f 2000...she had gemcitobene for six weeks, tried a clinical trial that made her very ill so she stopped it and now is going to bethesda, Maryland for another trial...her whole pancreas is full of cancer and also her liver...she just keeps fighting...there is no sense to this disease...each person that has it is different and we don't know how long any of them has...just hang in there and provide as much support as possible...my sis lives in minnesota and I in texas so its tough to be with her but i'm on my way to Maryland next week....god bless you and your father in law....you All have a BIG fight ahead of you..
