There are several on this board who are in the SF area and back on the board are posts about Dr. Tempero ... I'll find it for you and re-post. Keep in mind, there are various ways to go depending upon your staging and access to trials. Some first line of treatments (like MD Andersen in Houston, TX) go for chemo/radiation first to shrink tumors and remove complicating mets to veins, etc. -- then surgery. Some use the surgery first; then chemo/radiation. And then there is the world of clinical trials, many of which have studies where they can only accept a PC patient who has NOT had chemo/radiation first. Not sure if you have a feeling about what line of treatment appeals to you; and what your current docs have told you. We are on RFS beginning May 1 -- there are many on the board who have been on it or are still. I'll find Dr. Tempura's phone # and hospital and re-post. --kek
