Hi Colleen,

How would you describe ''shocking''? Do you mean it feels like little electrical shocks? Or is it about being overly sensitive to cold sensations and therefor being ''shocked''? Or more like the food tastes bad or your mom's sense of taste have changed so that the new tastes are ''shocking''?

I'm not exactly sure yet if I'll be able specifically to help you, but if you can describe it more with a sense of what you mom is experiencing than maybe someone else will be able to.

Jane
