ADRIAN - Update
Adrian will be 2 years post DX on 4/5/09. Had chemo and radiation in
June/July '07 at M D Anderson for adenocarcinoma on the head of the pancreas.
Whipple surgery on 9/7/07. Clean margins. Just got back in late Feb 2009
from regular follow up apptmt. All scans perfect/CA19-9 great also. Lowest
weight 119, current weight 155, original weight (pre-gettiing sick 184).
Our heroes are Dr. Jeffrey E Lee (surgeon) and Dr. Gauri Varadahachary
(oncologist) and Dr. Chris Crane (radiology) at M D Anderson....also Maria
Pelz, nutritionist extraordinaire.
Caregiver (me) is girlfriend. We are both 65 and went to high school
together/had been dating for a year prior to diagnosis.
