After having many times with severe pain that lasted 1-3 days I did have my lipase and amalyse checked I had accute pancreatitis..My hx I had whipple in 02..I get this pain every so often and Dr. did think it was pancreatitis. When the lipase and amalyse are elevated it point to pancreatits.
